Been here before in the past 10 years ago around New Years. Had a blast. Went their again, recently. Had the local joy juice, it was alright but but a little pricey at 1100 yen. Ordered a glass of wine for a friend l. Bartender said it was 700 yen. I gave her 1000 yen. She never gave me back the change. I mean if you really want the tip that badly keep the 300. But that's just dodgy and rude as hell.Place seemed to be better 10 years ago.
Nice selection of beer and good service :) Orders can take a bit long to fill during peak hours.
Good coffee and snacks here, very close to ticket office and ski lifts.
Great atmosphere at the end of the snowboarding day 🻠beer's good too
Awsome selection of beers love it ðŸ˜
Great spot!
Great place to grab a good beer and a snack. Reasonable prices and friendly service. 7-8 beers on tap.
Nice Palace for after ski. They need hooks on the walls though. To much get a on the floor
breakfast beagle barbecue sauce, plenty of cheese, with bacon. It is easy to cut it in half and eat it. The restaurant is full 100% foreign (I'm a clerk) when I went. I feel like I traveled abroad.Order at the counter. payment. You will be asked for your name, so if you tell it, your name will be called when you have a drink.
Good selection of beers and ok food. Extremely slow service even when bar only half full. Still worth dropping by.Keep a close eye on your gear, drunk aussies = lots of equipment goes walkabout. (Jackets gloves etc)
Very good craft beers and friendly staff! Perfect for taking a break from the slopes, a couple of meters away from the Snow Resort.Would definitely go back to try all their beers!
Great craft beer & cider. Can ski to the door so perfect for apres ski 😎ðŸ‘
Great place for a beer and some wings at the base of the gondola. I had to wait longer for the wings than I would have expected, but everyone working there was very nice. Expect mostly Australians who work here; as the entire village seems to be dominated by Australians working the restaurants and bars especially. In one sense this really makes you feel you’re not in Japan at all, which could be a negative if you want the full Japanese experience.
The wait staff are all skiers. The beer is wet. Perfect after a day of skiing. You can get Aussie food like toasties and fish and chips. Fresh pizza. Conveniently located near the Nagasaka lift.
Absolute ripper of a little cafe/bar on the slopes of Nozawa Onsen. Great spot to drop by for a bite of lunch and cold beer. Really good food options for kids as well. The service is always fast and friendly. Awesome spot. Highly recommended.
Awesome place for pre lift coffee and breakfast, and just as good for an apre beer or chu-hi. Staff always smiling, and whole place always vibing!! Worth a visit for sure!!
Nice little craft beer spot at the bottom of the slope. Good food, taps, and whiskey selection. The staff spoke fluent english and were very friendly.
I can drink Japanese and American craft beer. There is also a cafe menu. There were many food-like things. Many Westerners. The shop was also Western, but Japanese was understood. The chair is a high stool and I think it's a place to drink lightly and take a break, rather than relaxing.
Nice place with good service
Prompt service and good fish and chips!
Ski in - Great for breakfast, lunch and apres ski
A shop where you can drink craft beer in front of the slopes. There are many types to enjoy. The bagels and wrap sands in the showcase are pressed with hot sand at overseas sizes. You can also enjoy delicious coffee and latte. Latte art is also automatically attached.
If your looking to have a beer this is the place, can’t say the same for the food though. The quality is subpar all the wraps are at least a day old, orderedOne and it tasted so bad ended getting chicken fingers as they are impossible to screw up but somehow they managed they were wierdly battered and served with brown overfried French fries... needless to say won’t be coming back for food anytime soon
Fun place. Add whiskey to your hot chocolate. It's delicious.
Good selection of craft beers at the bottom of the Nagasaka gondola! Staff are friendly, and it's a good place to grab a drink after a long and hard day on the slopes.
Nice food and good beer!
Good breakfast bagle and coffee. Friendly staff nice way to start a morning skiing
Over priced
Best coffee in Nozawaonsen. Great craft beer too.
Good place for quick craft beer in area where you may not find much variety except local options.... In a way that defeats the purpose of going to local Japanese place. But good place nonetheless for beer after long day of skiing. Food is okaish. Not bad. Staff is all foreigners. Crowd is also all foreigners.
I may be biased due to my love for beer, but they had the local Joy Juice on tap...so I was there more than I should. Food was good, staff were cool and there was chill music. Luckily the weather wasn't ideal for skiing the few days in Feb we were there, so the time I spent imbibing was not at the expense of deep powder!
Great location at the bottom of the main gondola, good craft beers and a cheerful atmosphere.
Great craft beer a real surprise
Perfect for apres-ski! Fun energy, great music and they've got coffee, hot cocoa, small meals and cold drinks- anything you could want right after finishing your last run down the slopes!
Great service, very good coffee, and a very delicious brekky bagel. Visited every day pre and apres ski
